Ingredients
  • 1 lb crab meat (fresh or canned, drained)

  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs (for binding)

  • 1 large egg

  • 2 tbsp mayonnaise

  • 1 tbsp Dijon mustard

  • 2 tbspSeafood Seasoning

  • 1 tbsp fresh parsley (optional)

  • 1/2 tsp salt (optional, as the seasoning has salt)

  • 1 - 2 tbsp olive oil or butter

Directions
  1. Prepare the Mixture: In a large bowl, gently combine the crab meat with the breadcrumbs, egg, mayonnaise, yellow mustard, and our Seafood Seasoning. Add parsley if desired, and season with extra salt if preferred. 

  2. Form the Cakes: Using your hands, carefully form the crab mixture into small patties. You should get around 6-8 cakes, depending on size.

  3. Fry:  Heat oil or butter in a skillet over medium flame. Once the oil is hot, carefully place the patties in the skillet. Cook for 4-5 minutes on each side, or until they are golden brown and crispy and flip the cakes gently
